Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) will report earnings before the market opens and hold a conference call with management and analysts at 9:30 a.m. ET. According to Refinitiv, analysts anticipate a nearly 50% drop in profit compared to the previous year. However, the company surprised analysts by reporting better-than-expected earnings and revenue, driven by strong bond trading.

On Thursday, Netflix Inc (NASDAQ:NFLX) also report earnings and investors will be interested in how the company is performing with its crackdown on password sharing. Out of the 30 S&P 500 companies that have reported earnings as of Friday’s close, 80% have exceeded expectations.
